First off, let me tell you about our favorite GF pretzels. Glutino Gluten Free Pretzels Twist & Stick. My brothers who are AVID pretzel eaters, prefer these over Rold Gold. Every time they are at my house & I have a bag open they DOWN them haha! They love the extra crunch that comes from the absence of gluten.  The buttery taste is way more appealing & its less salty!

We have lots & lots & lots of jello at our Thanksgiving dinner. So I will be sharing two of my favorites  during our Sigh of Relief series. This is my second favorite jello & yes, it has pretzels! So, naturally we had to modify this one & use GF pretzels.  Just a tip: Make this the day of Thanksgiving. Gluten free anything has a tendency to get soggy. This lasted us the whole day but towards the evening it got a tad soggy.

Their are 3 layers:

Top: Strawberry jello
Middle: Cream cheese & cool whip mixture
Bottom: Pretezel crust

Strawberry Pretzel Jello

2 cups gluten free pretzel, crushed
2 tbs sugar
3/4 cups butter, melted
1 8oz package of cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 8oz container Cool Whip
1 8oz pkg strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
2 10oz pkg frozen strawberries, blended

Pretzel crust (bottom)
Combined pretzels, 2 tbs sugar, & melted butter. Spread them in the bottom of the 9×13 pan. Bake at 400 for 6 minutes. Cool thoroughly
Cream Cheese mixture (middle)
Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, & cool whip; spread on top of pretzel crust.
Jello (Top)
Dissolve the jello in the water and add the strawberries. Chill until almost congealed. Spread on top of cream cheese mixture.
