Lots of gravies contain gluten! That beautiful consistency is a byproduct of gluten thickeners. The silly thing is, there are OTHER ways to thicken gravy. You can use cornstarch, for example! So guess what that means!? If you get creative, you can have gravy on those mashed potatoes!!
You have a couple options.
1. Buy gluten free gravy packets
2. Make your own
If you buy gravy packets, here’s a great one to use: Mayacamas Brown Gravy Mix. It’s a beef gravy & It taste’s good & it’s a decent price. We picked it up at our local Good Earth but if you can’t find it, you can order it through that link. It makes 1 cup so you might need a few packets!
Gravy packets are great, but our preference is home made! Gotta love that good ol’ home cookin’! Just use your family recipe & add either cornstarch or gluten free flour to thicken it to the consistency you enjoy! That way you still get to enjoy gravy, the way you always have!

Thanks for sharing this! I’ve never tried that before! I usually just thicken the gravy with a little gluten free flour or cornstarch but this sounds way better.
