Gluten Free Pizza Crust

I’m not usually one to make my own pizza because I LOVE hot ‘n ready pizza’s, but I was given this box forever ago & finally caved & made King Arthur’s Gluten Free Pizza Crust. I was so glad I did! I’ve made King Arthur’sย bread from a box before & I really enjoyed the texture & flavor. I also appreciated that it felt like a FULL loaf & it wasn’t as expensive as other breads, such as Rudi’s.

So when I made this, I wasn’t expecting much…but it turned out extremely well.ย It passed all my tests:

Gluten Free Pizza Crust

Was it easy? Yes
Was it yummy? Yes
Was it fast? Yes

All you do is follow the instructions on the back of the Gluten Free Pizza Crust box. Mix the dough, let it rise & lay it out. Let it rise again, put your toppings on & bake. YUM! It makes two crusts, so I can put all my toppings on one & my husband can put all his toppings on the other. Win win.

I buttered my hands pretty well & kneaded the dough into a nice round circle. Then I created a lip around the edge for the crust. After that, I just let it sit for about a half hour.

Then we spread our pizza sauce, cheese, toppings & seasonings over the dough and threw it in the oven.

Look at how delicious it turned out! I was most impressed by how much the dough rose. It was thick & bready & the taste was awesome! Colby LOVED it (he can eat gluten…just reminding y’all). I think next time I’m going to leave it in for a little while longer & if my broiler wasn’t broken, I would have broiled it for a couple minutes to get the top crispy. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Way to go King Arthur! Thanks for a yummy gluten free pizza crust!

  1. Mmmmm. This looks delicious! Really good gluten free crusts are a hard find. I usually end up making one out of cauliflower!

Thank you! If you can’t find it in your stores, they might ship to the UK. You’ll have to check their website!

  3. I have never seen this and I really miss pizza since going GF over 2 months ago. Maybe I can track it down at a different grocery.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was diagnosed with a gluten allergy last year and haven’t found a pizza crust that even closely resembles “the good stuff!” I can’t wait to try this!

    Love your blog, btw! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hey ๐Ÿ™‚
I’ve made the first glutenfree pizza dough myself yesterday (with a german dough mix) and it was delicious! I was about to panic at first, because the dough was more like a cake batter and there was no way to roll it out. So I smudged it onto the baking tray somehow and hoped, it would become solid after baking. It did! And it was delicious, even if I was not sure, I did it right. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh thank you so much for sharing this! I went gluten and sugar free on Jan 1st and the one thing I’m missing the most is Pizza! (well, that and Ice Cream.) ๐Ÿ™‚ I saw the gluten free mixes on King Arthur’s pages but wasn’t sure about them. I will definitely give this a try! Thanks again for all you do here, I’ve learned so much from reading this blog.
