Banana Quinoa Oatmeal

Ingredients
  • ½ cup quinoa
  • 1 banana
  • ⅔ C milk
  • 1 tsp-1½ tsp cinnamon to taste
  • 1 tbs flax seeds
  • ½ tbs chia seeds
Instructions
  1. Rinse quinoa in cold water 3-4 times.
  2. Boil 1 cup water.
  3. Add quinoa, reduce heat to medium, cover. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until the grain is translucent.
  4. Mash one banana and add to hot quinoa.
  5. Slowly stir in milk.
  6. Add freshly ground flax seeds.
  7. Add ½ tbs chia seeds.
  8. Top with berries & sweeten to taste with maple syrup.
